Our Techniques
It all begins with an idea.
Applying cutting edge design and manufacturing to old performance parts. What would they have done the first time with the same tools? Now we know - let’s unlock the potential that has always been there.
Laser Scanning
3D laser scanning of the original components to ensure that the new design will fit. Millions of data points.
3D Modelling
Integrate advanced aerodynamic features into the product. These include using guide vanes to move air around bends with lower energy costs, elliptical bell mouth designs and mimetic sharkskin features to trip laminar flow.
Computational Fluid Dynamics
Fluid simulation of the design to optimise flow and ensure that air moves as expected within a virtual prototype enviroment. This allows for the design to be iterated and optomised before live testing. More design permutations can be tested faster to get better outcomes.
3D Printing
3D printing allows us to produce parts that simply cannot be be manufactured by traditional manufacturing techniques. We can add features and shapes that the original designers could only have dreamed of.
